This project includes a new cath lab procedure suite with dedicated pre / post bays, laboratory services, and a 16-bed emergency department complete with two trauma rooms and six exam room fast track areas. The emergency department is partially housed in a new 3,550 SF addition with a dedicated canopy and entry for emergency vehicles and a new helipad. Other areas on the 1st floor include a cardio clinic, cardiac rehab, supply chain management, pulmonary services, infusion, a new radiology room, updated registration bays, new board room and chapel.

The 2nd floor houses 4,700 SF of administration, plant operations, linen storage, and staff lockers. Additionally, the 2nd floor is the location of the main mechanical and building infrastructure spaces totaling 7,000 SF.

The 3rd floor houses the new surgical services department with four operating rooms supported by 16 pre / post op rooms and sterile processing department. The inpatient beds on the third floor will include 19 medical and surgical and seven critical care patient rooms. A new kitchen and café are located on the north side of the 3rd floor.

In addition to the above, all three floors will be serviced by the installation of the four new elevators. One is a 5,000 pounds patient elevator; one is a 10,000 pounds heavy duty service elevator and two are 4,000 pounds passenger elevators. A new six station pneumatic tube system has been installed.

Exterior improvements include milling, repaving, and striping 440,000 SF of paving. There is new lighting, a new bulk oxygen generator, and a fuel oil tank enclosure constructed with heavy masonry screen wall and ornamental fencing.
